The photo above is a "step 1" shot for the photo I took today. Unfortunately, I can't reveal the final image yet. Anyway, it's something that will blow your mind away.
For today's TipsyTuesday is about lighting in layers. It's about adding light one at a time. For example, for the photo above i started with determining the right exposure for the background. I then added a snooted light for the label. a few small reflectors to open up some shadows. until i got what i needed and wanted.
This way, it is also easier to adjust the direction, intensity and/or color of your light.
