In Memoriam...

Been a while since my last update on this project.

I was going to post this photo
Fairview Garden
and say how thankful we are to our friends Miro and Verna for having us in their place while our little one is getting ready for his travel back here in Macau, etcetera, etcetera.

but then I guess one of the biggest event of our week is knowing that one of our (me and my wife and a lot dancers back home) beloved teacher has passed.

i wanted to post this
Bursts
and write something emotional. maybe a poem or just something to ease the sadness in me. But every time I compose something in my head, instead of getting more emotional it makes me smile to know how he lived his life and how he dedicated his life to his family, to dance and to God. A life well lived.

A fireworks photo may not be appropriate but I hope you're having a blast (see the connection?) up there Teacher Noords! Say hi to Mr. Mamangun for me.

below are some other photos i've been snapping for this project.

He usually likes staring at sky and the clouds outside our window. But this time, he was looking at the direction of my light, not directly at it.

Surprise!!!

My very good friend Biag dropped by to visit us and our little boy. Quite a surprise. For that, i forced him to sit for me. I don't care if he hadn't slept for 48 hours.

Mid-Autumn fest and little something in the end

255 of 365

The Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節), also known as the Moon Festival or Zhongqiu Festival is a popular harvest festival celebrated by Chinese, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese people. Dating back over 3,000 years to moon worship in China's Shang Dynasty, it was first called Zhongqiu Jie (literally "Mid-Autumn Festival") in the Zhou Dynasty.[1] In Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines, it is also sometimes referred to as the Lantern Festival or Mooncake Festival.

bouncing baby boy

Jump for joy 247 of 365 this photo was taken yesterday at friend's house in Lantau Island. We ate a lot of food and we talked a lot and we drank some beer and wine and we even did some karaoke and i took this photo of Joseph, being his usual self. On our way back to our apartment, my wife asked me if we could walk slower than usual cause her belly was not really feeling well. we got home and it got a little worst, she was not able to sleep well because she was going to the bathroom every half an hour or so and her early contractions keeps on waking her up. a around 530 am we decided to go to the hospital and at around 630, she's at 1 cm already so the midwives decided to admit us. almost 12 hours after that this, our little precious Elias.
