Getting Back to Basics

Sometimes when your creative juices has dried up, the best thing to do is stop and get back to basics. In photography, sometimes (or most of the time) we get too technical about everything from camera use to lighting techniques to gear/equipment, etc and we tend to forget the real essence of it.

It's a very sensitive topic and I am in NO position to talk about the real essence of photography but here's my 2 cents worth. Photography is much like any other art form but the difference is we use a very "technically challenging" tool to express and/or document what we see or what we feel.

What I'm trying to say is just let it go. Just shoot what you feel is picture worthy.
